The mobile STEM lab is an initiative by the outreach team at the Carl R. Woese Institute for Genomic Biology. With this approach, the team aims to clarify the role of genomics in all aspects of life, stressing the importance of science literacy for non-scientists. The lab will deliver hands-on engagement with genomics research in areas including genetically modified organisms, microbiomes, antibiotic resistance, CRISPR, and personalized health.
